Just changed my rims to GTX01. 17x8 with offset 45. Gonna lower my car with Blitz damper zzr in the coming months to reduce the gap

So I was trying to figure out what wheels to mount on my 2016 Prius 4. I've spend tons of money on rims for my sports cars (GT-R, M3, etc.) but didn't want to invest too much into my Prius. Wanted an OEM look but in 18" since the stock 15 inchers were so small and had so little grip. I haven't seen anyone try this yet so I thought I would give it a shot and acquired a set of 18x8 +40ET wheels from the current gen Corolla XSE. Same center bore so I wouldn't have to worry about adapters. The tires are 225/40/18. They fit like a charm. No rubbing, plenty of clearance from the struts and fender. I can rip around corners and onramps much faster now (to maintain momentum and save gas of course). MPG suffers a bit but that's okay. It looks miles better than the 15" wheels did. I have a set of Tanabe springs and will install them next week.

Hello Folks, from Gen 3 to 4 and here she is... Sitting on TEIN Flex-Z and 17x9 RAYS Gram Lights 57 Xtreme - 225/45/17.

 

Looks great! Any idea what offset your wheels are?

 

Rays Super Eco 15x6.0 +45 with 195/65/15 tire. Using 20mm spacers all around. I'm lowered on Tein Flex A coilovers and that's the lowest the front will go so the rear is set for the same height. Might have to switch coilovers to get lower.
