Came across someone selling their HV battery out of their totaled Gen2. The battery was replaced in March of 2016, which I checked on Toyotas website for clarity. My concern is that the battery has been sitting for 2 months. Is that too long for a battery to be sitting? Thank you I also have the SN of the pack: H02ZSAJ0020A
It's fine... As long as they didn't spend too much time trying to get a broken engine running after the accident, which can drain the pack down. Of course if it was me getting that pack I'd build a spread sheet up of baseline test data and then charge and balance and then put it in a car...
okay, thank you! I will take a look at the pack in a few days and make sure that there was not any modules swapped out either.
