At the back of my 2006 Prius owner manual, they give a phone number to call if you want to buy the Repair Manual for the car. Does anybody know how much it costs and if it's worth buying if I don't really plan to do any "repairs" other than changing wiper blades and maybe charging up the 12 volt battery if needed. I would never want to touch the hybrid battery! I do generally like to buy a shop manual when I buy a new car because it does tell you lots of interesting stuff about how the car is put together. I understand that it's available online, but costs about $10 a day. You only pay for the time you use and it's possible to download it all in about a day.

Yes, I've heard that it takes several hours. It depends on your ability to download and what manuals you want. I understand that once you have them all, it'll take a while to get them in order.
