wow nice, I'm at 310k and still running strong. Thinking about upgrading the speaker stereo and headunit, as well as fix the struts to make it more enjoyable to drive.

About a quart every 600-800 miles. Same as at 200K.

    337,000 miles and still going

    1) Did you replace the HV battery pack? No - still on the original
    2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid? not even sure what that is
    3) Did you replace the brake pads? multiple times
    4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)? no
    5) How often do you change your oil? What brand / product did you use? typically between 5-6K- currently using Castrol hi-milage synthetic
    6) How about post a picture of 300,000 miles on ODO? tried - the refresh rate on the odd and my camera shutter seem to not like each other
    7) Are you the original owner? no
    8) How many miles under your ownership? I bought the car with 40k on it as an experiment to see if I would like it
    9) Feel free to add anything else you wish to share we've recently added a gen 3 for my wife and once mine finally quits I'll almost certainly get another Prius (unless I win the lottery - in which case one of those new Porsche electrics will be my next car)

I should know better than to question a guy who’s done all that lol, but anyway: why not change both rears? Don’t brake shoes (assuming US rear drums) sell in sets of 2?

Yes definite pain. That may have played into not doing both wheels

Have you replaced or cleaned the fuel injectors?

I've got an '09 with 405k that's been a champ but recently has been having this weird issue where it registers a cylinder 1 misfire. The engine mostly sounds good, it's just when the engine cycles back on after being off for a few minutes (in park, stop light or pop into a store for 5 minutes). When it happens, it runs really rough and sounds like it's going to stall out and then suddenly, it clears up and sounds normal.

I've checked coils, replaced spark plugs and cleaned the vvt valve and throttle body. I also ran a bunch of seafoam in the tank and bought the kind you spray into the intake. I have refurb injectors in the mail that I'll be replacing in the next couple days but it's nice to have someone with a high mileage Prius to talk to.

Sometime it's the coils and switch them around from cylinder 1 to 3 and the problems moves with the aging coil then you know to replace that one. Also I've bought new NGK spark plugs and they turned out be fake and only lasted 10k the real one last about 100k. The fakes spark plugs is wide rampanted problem in part industry. Chinese knocks look real down to the box and spark design. Even big auto suppliers such as pep boys, auto zone are finding these knock offs in their supply change. Check the spark plug with the misfire and determine if the spark plug is oily or spark gap out of spec. If it's oily you might have headgasket failure. If out spec and spark plug is not fake then replace or regap and put back in.

The taxi Prius is now up to 733,000kms and the left hand rear wheel bearing is starting to sound like freight train. Bought a replacement from a vehicle dismantler and hope to fit it with the next week or so ...... you know the brg noise is excessive when it drowns out the noises from the well worn petrol engine as it screams it's t*ts off when it hits a hill and still ties to maintain the 110km/h (70mph)

Keep your fingers crossed it isn't a head gasket seeping a bit of coolant into the cyl when the engine warms up. There are some "miracle" sealants you can add to the coolant that is supposed to be able to seal leaking head gaskets withoit blocking the rest of the cooling system, so there might still be a recovery path if that turns out to be the problem.

Hey Terry - that’s exactly what it is. I used some Bar’s Liquid Copper (contains sodium silicate) about a week ago and all my symptoms have gone away and nothing has happened to any of the water pumps. I will post updates…

I’m 318k now. Annual oil change at this point every 10k miles. Stolen cat and can’t pass smog. Given the price of used cars are through the roof I’m contemplating fixing the cat to pass smog and keeping the car. The paranoia and fear of getting it stolen again despite countermeasures frightens me however.
