I had searched for an answer to this but didn't find anything. When I start my car the EV range is showing more than it should as the battery was not charged. This morning it showed 5.3 miles after some odd behavior. I'll get to that. When I got to work I turned the car off and back on and it showed 3.5 after a 30 miles commute. About the strange behavior, my son may have a light on. When I went to start it morning happened. All the lights came in but the cat did NOTHING. Turned on and off again and it started but with the 5.3 miles on the EV range. It definitely did not have that much charge. Everything is original. Also, lately I've noticed my radio is off when I get in the car in the missing when it was on when I left the vehicle. Could the 12v be going? I'll get it checked. Thanks ahead of time and sorry if I missed a list about this. Pixel 4 ?
I would certainly suspect the 12V. Especially when a very old battery gets lights left on to drain whatever life it had in it.
Was fine this morning. Has been fine since. I'll start planning the replacement soon. It's seven years old now. I know they go longer but I'd rather not chance it. Pixel 4 ?
sounds very similar to my experience. my 2012 pip 100k miles, original 12v batt. happened to me last month, car die on fwy, Check Hybrid System error message on dash, tow to dealer, recommend new 12v batt. after $140 diagnose fee. new 12v battery fixed so far been fine.
I haven't tested it yet. Everything is fine at the moment. No issues. Might have been just leaving that might on. Pixel 4 ?
