Hello everybody, I've been designing a spoiler lip for my 2018 Prius Prime and I would like to have a pulse from you guys that are Prius enthusiasts. So far this is my 3rd shot designing the spoiler lip, I 3d scanned the tailgate and been 3D printing the spoiler lips and I'm looking to make the final version out of carbon fiber. Interested. Do you still have the models? Would you be willing to send them to me? I want to modify and see if I could extend them. To go across the taillight to see how that would look. Either way. Very interested.
I would like to see how itd look maybe longer. Have it come pass the edges a bit and a maybe go all the way across the rear to the end of the taillight.
Yes, I'm already working on another version covering all the way till the end of the taillights.. hopefully, I'll have ready the carbon fiber version by next month. I would like to make some spoiler to sell for sure. I really like how the Prius looks with the spoiler lip, looks more sporty to me.
I will be interested in getting one! How is the spoiler attached to the liftgate, adhesive or ? Factory ones are usually bolted on.
I would use the 3M automotive high bond tape to attach the spoiler lip to the liftgate. I don't really like drilling into the body of the liftgate, I'm not quite sure if is all made of carbon fiber.
