I replaced intake manifold ,egr cooler, and cleaned egr valve and pipe, and installed catch can. My question is do I need to update the software for the car ,I have several TSB's regarding cold start knock and they instruct to replace manifold and update software.
You should be able to look at open recalls for your car by entering VIN number on Toyota site. There have been some recalls for software updates.
