We were challenging Lexus (the voice in our Prius - so named because when we asked her what her name was she said "Lexus dealerships now being displayed - she's a wannabe) - - - anyway we were giving some friends a ride the other day and having fun giving her unusual commands to see what her response would be. I'd read elsewhere that you could say "I have to take a leak" and she'd say "gas station icons now being displayed" - we tried it and it worked. We tried a new one - our son wanted us to say "I'm so confused" so we did and the response was "higher education icons now being displayed" - - - we laughed so hard we nearly needed to find a gas station - he he. What are your funny stories with voice commands?
I once asked our TRAC car to "show me the meaning of life" (another client had mentioned this) and it showed me Botanical Gardens. It may have been the way I phrased the question, because I have not been able to duplicate that yet! Dianne
i want it to say 'not bloody likely' for some things... (for those among you not that well versed in early computer things, there used to be a text adventure game series from infocom called Zork, the Great Underground Empire. and if you gave it a strange command, like unlock the door with the feather, it would come back and say 'not bloody likely')
Another Prius in Nebraska Hey - great to see another Prius in Nebraska - I get to Omaha every now and then so honk and wave if you see me. I'll be buzzing in and out on the 20th. I got my Prius in February and have been the only one in town until about 2 weeks ago, and now I have a twin in town. You say there are 18, is there a NE group listed somewhere?
I seem to recall when demoing Dianne's Prius back in early October of '03 that we came up with a few other "funny" requests - and equally funny responses. I've sworn at it, and it gave me icons for Health and Fitness clubs. We've joked that asking for gas shows us Taco Bell. Can't remember some of the others... but they were indeedy funny
