185s on 6.5 wheel

    Can I run 185s on the gen 3 wheels? The tire sites say yes but wasn’t sure if anyone was. I’m curious what the negatives are. I have brand new never mounted 185s so I don’t want to buy 195s if I don’t have to

    I ran 185’s on my Cobalt for many years due to the big price savings, should be no issue except a small potential odometer variance

    Gen 2 is factory 15x6 with 185s but I’m going 6.5” which says to use 195s

    my rims were 6.5” such a minor difference will make minimal difference 185vrs195
