Just recently took ownership of a new 2020 Prius Prime Limited in Titanium Glow back on November 11. I know it had been on the lot since July 2020, so it needed a bit more detailing than regular dealer prep to get her looking her best. So I took her in to a local detail shop, added body side molding and a little wax, and she shines! This is my 3rd Prius - and wanted to step into the plug-in version this time. I've got 240v charging in my garage already, so I drive it, plug it, and within 2 hours or so, I'm ready again. Haven't used gas yet since I drove it home!
Congratulations! I also "lost" the plastic hubcaps and can't help but wonder why they hide those beautiful alloys (any aerodynamic loss would seem to be meh).
No extra cost, but for some reason there aren't that many available. Cars.com did help with locating that specific color, as my previous Prii were white (2011) and black (2016) so I thought I'd try a different color - which I like a lot.
I'm jelly. I got Pearl Blizz and got "stuck" with extra $800 for fancy wheels (because I wanted the "Moonstone" interior for its 1970s Sci-Fi vibe, and TBH I think the stock ones without cheesy hubcaps look better. If they were gonna put hubcaps on a Prius IMO the ONLY rational choice would be Land Speed Record low drag "Moon disc" style which normally requires insane mods like drilling and tapping into the wheels, etc, but would be trivial for OEM.MOON Discs
I see this color a lot in Baltimore and surrounding areas (including my own!). In fact there are at least two others beside my own in the parking lot at work most days.
Yup - I bought it at Koons Easton Toyota, MD. They had one more on the lot. There were none nearby in WI at a comparable price.
If you’re talking about the OP’s body side mouldings, they’re OEM. You can get them at the Toyota dealer.
