Danny, Did you write this chat app yourself or did you get it somewhere? Pretty cool. Is it all written in PHP? Been meaning to get some PHP experience, but can't find the time.
This is a highly modified phpbb forum application. Pretty much started with a blank canvas and I have sculpted it as needed and as the site grows I'm sure more modifications will be integrated into the site. To be honest, I've just started learning PHP when I first started Priuschat 2 months ago, but I've learned pretty quickly, which is how I've been able to personalize the site a lot more lately. Does that mean you can't find the changes?
Was the 'Who Is Online' section there before? I'm not very observant with details, to be quite honest. God forbid I become a witness and have to describe someone to a sketch artist.
Haha, well, that's one thing. I moved it to the top instead of the bottom. I also changed some of the spacing on the site so that you can move through a thread faster and I think it looks better as well. A few other small things, but that's about it.
Did you, per chance, just add the "goto page" area at the top of the thread? Before today, I could swear I had to scroll down to the bottom to change pages. Now, if that only appeared on the RHS up top so it was symmetric...
It actually used to be there, just on the top right instead of the left right below the Thread Title. I also moved the Thread Title and made it larger and easier to see. RHS?
Biggest improvement for me has been adding the Go To page just below the thread title on the index for new posts since my last log in. Thanks!!! That is a big time saver so as not to call up the thread only to have to click again to get to the last page. Thanks, Danny!
