It does if we knew the total percentage of population of new buyers, but even so, 6% is still 6% and is still less than Hybrid and ICE Potential sales in all.
6% interest as opposed to 23% in hybrids shows that Toyota still has a bigger market share. What about the other 40% who want an ICE. Tesla still has a long way to go, to grow.
Yeah, it's a head shaker, you have now several times claimed one thing but in the same post leave data that contradicts the claim. That is the agenda you were talking about.
Not understanding how you are interpreting that by what I posted? 6% < 23% < 41% = majority want Hybrids and ICE.
You still haven't told us what the growth rate is from current BEV adoption number is to the 6% you posted. That is your contradiction.
432,000 BEV sales, 1,656,000 Hybrid sales and 2,952,000 ICE sales. BEV sales could be to any number of manufacturers at this time, so who knows how many will end up with Tesla.
Toyota is hoping for 30K sales for the new Mirai in California alone. Toyota should get 90% of the Hybrid sales.
Since you won't post it, BEV new vehicle sales are currently about 2%. So the 6% you post would suggest a tripling of sales. That's a huge increase in interest and amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Anytime but your forgetting this is 6% of 72 million individuals not the entire US population so what about the other 259 million - only time will tell who wins their money.
. . . You mean like posting hydrogen claptrap with every positive Tesla expansion article? There's an "H" word that describes that theme - & it ain't hydrogen. .
The hybrid market segement has struggled to break 3% of new car sales for years, and the only reason it has be keeping up is the introduction of models from multiple makers. The 23% is too good to be true, unless it also includes PHEVs. 432,000 BEVs is far more than the 330,000 BEvs and PHEVs sold last year; a 30% improvement. Where the hell did you hear that? Same place that said the new Mirai would be a thousand pounds lighter than the old one? Toyota said they could make 30 thousand Mirai annually. For the entire world. They once hoped to sell 30k Prius Primes in the US. I don't they are so delusional to think the same of the Mirai.
I redact my statement - 30k Mirai units worldwide with 18k in California based on current percentage of sales. Percentage of sales should go higher with the new redesign of the Mirai.
