My wife just got her test Sunday for tomorrow's knee replacement. She said it really tickled. I'm guessing they used a different collection method.
Thanks! It went well. Hopefully, they'll let me bring her home tomorrow. And we discovered that her nurse this afternoon is the daughter of the people who own the Honduran shipping company our mission uses to send stuff down there. Talk about a small world!!!
Excellent news, I hope she does well. That is a small world. Now starts the tough part, the rehab. I was just discharged from home health and start my external PT today for my hip replacement. Six more weeks and I'm FREEEEE. By the time the Tesla gets here, I "might" be able to climb into it. Let us know how she does with rehab. Slow and steady.
Sounds like good timing on the car and rehab. Wifey is slightly dreading the first couple of PT sessions but she's incredibly brave and knows it'll be worth it and get easier. It turns out that they will probably keep her another night. She's been happy with the care she's getting and I don't mind someone else doing all that work for another day. The doc already has the in-home PT set up for her.
It's the whole unknown thingy. They will start out slow and she can push back as needed. Sounds like you're all set.
Yup. And she just got up for the first time. Walked down the hall 150' to a chair and did exercises. First PT a success! Whoot!!!
Our cleaning lady sent us a note that she's working from home today. She included instructions on what to do.
If this has already been posted, I missed it. It's not specific to the virus, but it does seem to fit well with the way this year is going.
...Which is EXACTLY why I'm staying up well past midnight on New Years!!! Those Boomerang Zones are sneaky like that!
