Entune? Should I download and activate the app or just stick with Apple play? How do they differ? How are they the same? I have it on my Lexus, but have never set it up. Should I? And then should I do it on my new Prius? Thanks.
I would stick with Carplay which according to the bio, you have the 2020 prius which should have it. Entune 3.0 probably offers some Toyota specific things, but considering most people prefer carplay and actively want to get away from Entune 2.0.
I have a 2020 XLE AWD too and I ended up deleting entune. Apple Carplay just works better. If I have to use yelp I’ll just pull over and use my phone.
I don't even have Carplay and I deleted Entune. I don't know much about 3.0, but version 2 was garbage. Not one useful thing there.
It is tethered apple car play. Yeah I know tethered offer better connection than wireless, But I dont like having my phone charged while it plugged in. I have Apple Music which is what I listen to over radio, so I use bluetooth (and Siri hands free to contoral music) and Apple Car play for Google Maps.
