I've had the OEM and the Wellvisors. I prefer the latter. WELLvisors - High quality side window visors deflectors, dashboard mat
Ordering was easy - just search for you make, model, and year and the available list pops up. They are local to me and I just go pick them up. Can't imagine that big operation would have a shipping problem...
Just installed the Tom's Racing window visors / rain guards. I've had them in a box for maybe 6months as it looked complicated to install and got lazy. I had the Wellvisors and didn't like then too much as they appeared greenish when looking through them. The Tom's look like they are aerodynamic and have a design that lows cool air to still flow through the chain when the windows are cracked. Just installed then today and they seem quieter as well at highway speeds compared to the Wellvisors. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Not too too bad. Surprised there was a vendor that readily has it on their site for ordering. Still had to wait for shipping from Japan, but I think it was like $150 or so shipped. I ordered from Evasive Motorsport. Giving away the Wellvisors now lol Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Dumb question... what are the benefits of these? We live in Seattle, where it’s raining a lot of the time, and I don’t seem to notice rain coming down on top of us when we exit the vehicle.
It's for when you're driving in rain, and want to crack open the window. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I have Weathertech In channel set for the front windows. I had them on my RX330, camrys and matrix before.
I got a set of Goodyear side window deflectors because when I park at work the car bakes in the hot summer sun but we can often get afternoon rain storms so these make it possible to keep the windows open a few inches without worrying about rain getting in. It's made a huge difference in the car, probably about 30 degrees cooler. (Heat is one of the biggest killers of our hybrid batteries.)
