Hello - new to the forum.
    Background:
I have a 2011 Prius 4 with the Plus Performance package. It includes a body kit, lowering springs, a fatter rear swaybar, and forged wheels. The car spent a majority of its life up north and the salt has taken its toll on the suspension components. The dealer quoted almost $3k to replace it with the correct TRD bits, and almost $2k for a standard Prius suspension. With the standard suspension, there will be significant wheel gap given the car was intended to be lowered.

    My question:
Quite a few companies make aftermarket coilover kits for the 2011 Prius, but as I recall, the dealer said there was something different with the Plus package that would need to be addressed if I used a regular Prius setup (other than the ride height difference). With the aftermarket being cheaper than TRD and standard Prius suspension, it's obviously the best option because I can keep the lowered stance and save money. I emailed BC suspension and they asked for the chassis code, which is ZVW30L.

I say all of that to ask - does anyone know or think a BC or similar coilover will fit this car? The chassis code seems to suggest yes - but the dealer made a fuss about this suspension mating up with a standard Prius suspension, therefore I worry that an aftermarket kit intended for a standard Prius may not work here -- does anyone have the ground truth on this?

    Thanks!

Do searches on what people have already done on here to get a sense of it... But, because of nature of Prius, your options are limited..

Yea that may be so. Maybe someone with a Plus Performance model who has done a suspension swap can chime in. The car is getting pretty old, so I think those modders have moved on..
