Does anyone fitted a wireless charger to their Gen 4, specifically 2020 to work as a wireless CarPlay? How about fitting the one from the prime? Post pics and where’d you got it from. Looking to find one to fit on the tray under the shifter.
I think you are barking up the wrong tree, so to speak. Wireless charging ("Qi") is solely an inductive charging standard that does not include any kind of communication protocol. Wireless CarPlay would occur over Bluetooth and would require a separate adapter. You are going to have to find and install two separate pieces of hardware: Qi transmitter and CarPlay dongle. IMO that would be more trouble than it's worth!
What I’m asking is if someone have fitted the wireless charger/apple CarPlay from the prime to a non prime.
There is no "wireless CarPlay" in Prime, only wired CarPlay which is via USB. The "wireless charger" from Prime is mostly useless for today's power-hungry phones. It is way too slow for most phones. Not worth your effort or money to install it on Gen4.
CarPlay2air (add the usual d-o-t com afterwards . . . I don't have enough posts yet to post direct links). It shipped from China, but came fairly quickly.
