I already have LEDs for my interior and license plate lights. However, saw these plate type lights online and decided to try them since they were a mere $12 for the whole set. Ended up only installing the dome, rear reading and trunk lights as I felt the rest are fine as they were. Installation took 10mins and fit like a glove since they were all pre-cut to gen 3 specs. Some videos: Result: Mixed feelings. They are definitely BRIGHT. Can be a bit too bright if at times you prefer to be incognito. Will leave on for a few weeks and see if I can live with it. Something tells me I will get used to it though. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
We have a 2018 Honda Clarity. Every single lamp is LED except 4, the vanity mirror lights on the sun visors. They are YELLOW. I followed someone on another forum and replaced them with Sylvania ZEVOs (6000K). I tried them in the dark and they are horribly bright/irritating to the eyes. If they ever burn out I will just use the old bulbs I kept...
Amazon had them. I got the bulb type from Sylvania Application guide and searched. Car calls for 6615F (shaped like glass fuse) but it's ZEVO 6612F. Fit is the exact same as the original bulb, but output is 180 degrees vs filament 360. (Hope that makes sense). Sylvania is good at replacing them I had a festoon type crack and they replaced it real quick. (Register them on their website for this benefit).... moto g(7) power ?
