Upholstery Cleaner on Softex Leather?

    Hi All,

    Has anyone used an upholstery cleaner on their softex leather seats? Recently purchased a used 2016 prius four and the seats look pretty good but still want to give them a nice "deep clean" to get rid of anything left by the previous owners. Does anyone have experience using upholstery cleaners or would you recommend another cleaning spray?

    I would just use mild soap and water on a damp rag.

    Or just water without any soap.

    Softex is not real leather so any upholstery cleaner or leather cleaner may react with it or take the colour off.
    A ph neutral soap and water would be best.

    That's what I do. But I've only needed to do it a couple times in 1-1/2 years. It might be much more often if I was back in my old job and not at a desk all day.
