Why? What is your motivation for wanting to sell it? I would want at least another 150k miles before considering selling.
The car was only being used on Saturdays for about 6 months since I had a company car. When I started droving it normal again the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I took it in for Diagnostics and was told the hybrid battery is covered got 10 year or 150k. Since my car is 2011 and it had not reached 150k they replaced it under warranty
Your post got me thinking: I could be wrong, but I don't believe I've heard of anyone on PriusChat that's had a battey failure while still under warranty. If that's the case, it's pretty impressive.
I heard Cali Cars have that coverage, don't know car bought from out side of CA and register in CA for more than 5yr?
When I was in the market for a used Prius, this would have been my ideal car- an older Prius with a new factory installed OEM traction battery, which should last around 10 years with normal driving. If you sold it at a fair price, it would go very quickly, which is why I'd keep it.
"45k miles and climbing daily driver" @Cezarcaz what do you mean by "climbing"? Or it's a typo? (Excuse the funky quote; either Priuschat or my antiquated iPhone is not allowing kosher quotes this morning.)
