    Oh jeez, that's terrible and definitely not what I expect of a Toyota.

    I haven't had the interior falling apart problems. The leather is still good even after 95,000 miles. The chrome stuff is pealing a little. The car was from Dallas area and now is in one of the coldest parts of Colorado and I don't have a garage.

    I’ve had an ‘07 Prius for the last 3.5 years & took the miles from 108k to 257k driving for Uber. Averaged 45-49mpg. Only repairs were two wheel bearings, water pump & catalytic converter for local emissions.
    I wanted a nice second car, but was having trouble in this tight car market finding a plusher car for under $10k. I watched internet sites for about six weeks & found a ‘14 Avalon Limited Hybrid with 99.9k on it from a Toyota dealer 500 miles away in WV. A local one owner, with all recommended services done at the dealer per Toyota owner service portal as well as CARFAX. I flew to Pittsburgh & Ubered 100 miles south to take delivery.
    I drove it home & have put 2k miles on it, gas mileage range of 35-41. Wonderful driving car that I will, when Covid wanes, use for Uber & personal. The power is a bit better than I expected & the ride, handling, & quiet exceeded my expectations. The leather seats are in perfect condition & no peeling of the attractive but flashy chrome dash trim.
    I hope to get 250k-300k without few issues & will be surprised if not. The previous owner had no repairs, only maintenance. Was glad to see the dealer talked him into replacing the transmission fluid at 58k, so I’ll be good for many miles to come. Getting the engine coolant replaced now at 101k per the manual.

    Ya, I need to change the coolant soon too. I'm also wondering when and how to flush the brake fluid. It looks like the complicated braking systems on hybrids are one of their weaker points. I also changed the transmission oil at 60,000 even though it's not supposed to be until much later according to the manual. But it was rather cheap and easy to do.

    I think all ABS systems require a manufacturer scanner in order to open the valves to completely flush the old brake fluid out.
    I need to flush the fluid on the Camry, but I am not worried about getting the old fluid completely out.

    I ended up having a mechanic do it that had a special scan tool.
