I have a 2013 Prius V. When the car starts up, the display shows a Journey album cover. When I turn the display off (for driving at night) it shows a white lettered 'GOODBYE' that is bright and does not go away. How do I get rid of both of these? Especially the 'goodbye' when I turn the screen off. It's super annoying at night when i want the display to be black. I have attached pictures. Thank you
I recall that some models of Toyotas in that era could customise their splash screen so that might be it (I presume you bought this vehicle used). There should be a section in the owner’s manual that describes how to customise your splash screen. Alternatively, you could just reset the whole headunit and start from factory default.
