How much is the rental, and for what duration? Your profile "Location:" says 'California' which encompasses a large area, which metroplex are you near?
I just DM'd him. He's somewhere here in SoCal. $100 rental for 2 weeks, $350 refundable deposit, has Gen 2 and Gen 3 harness. Not bad, yet I really wanted the discharger too...if I had a 2nd stimulus, I'd buy the Deluxe set already with both harnesses so I'm slowly saving. I did see the other Deluxe system set for sale earlier, yet didn't want to spring for a system that is close in price to retail if its not under the original 2 year warranty.

@Mark Schramm recently said.... - I live in Utah - I have an '06 HyHi. This means a Hybrid Highlander. That HV battery is NOT the same as the Prius. It's a 288vdc nominal battery, the Prius is 202vdc. A Prolong System designed for a Prius will not work on a Highlander. And performing only a top charge of a HV battery is going to severely disappoint anyone who is thinking it's going to solve any problems.
