I got new spark plugs installed today. I just had the dealership do it.

Will have some more self install coming up soon.

Want to paint the brake calipers blue to match the Prius logo. It will make my car faster!

I changed my oil for the first time. I just purchased my Prius on December 26th of 2019. I decided to try out some of Grit’s suggestions. This will be the first time that I’ve used Liqui Molly or Red line oil in any of my vehicles. I also changed the cabin filter. I was planning on changing the air filter, but it looks like new. 5F1369A5-AA0D-4777-AB0A-715707977250.jpeg

Make sure you go with an oil filter synthetic media that’s at least 20,000 miles approved if your breaking out redline oil.

I really like using this for my navigation. I also installed a Accele backup camera. I’m impressed with the picture quality for an 80.00 camera. I really need to get a license plate frame and some better looking bolts though.

I’m gonna do the gen 4 swap. Ordered the engine, and tearing down my gen 3 in my spare time in preparation. Should be interesting. Never done anything like this before. I’m a suspension guy.

Just got done doing oil change, plugs, cleaned manifold, cleaned EGR valve, new EGR cooler, installed oil catch can, new PCV, ...among other small things. But the engine has 240k soooooo I think it was bound to happen. I’ve read about this happening to others often too with 200k+ miles

    No problem;).

I've done the job about a dozen times, so a pressure washer is your best tool for quick cleanliness and effectiveness :).

Check out the @NutzAboutBolts videos in the maintenance section and you'll be ready for the setup and execution of the job(y).

Just changed my ICE coolant, inverter coolant, transmission fluid, oil and filter. Everything was OEM fluids except oil and with new gaskets! Transmission fluid had some red to it still but was very dark and nasty.

Pretty easy job. Wanted to do brake fluid but too lazy to take the wheels off. Maybe I'll pay someone for that haha
