The Storm Trooper, Angry Alien and Bug-Under-Microscope faces are - hopefully - going away, after dealing a blow to Toyota sales, I assume. Wanted a RAV4 hybrid - excellent specs and features, decent price - just couldn't force myself to spend $30K+ of my own money on something so intentionally ugly. The Prius and the CHR are supposedly getting a few stupid creases smoothened out for MY2020. We'll see.
Sorry Prodigy, Dimitri is correct up there.... The Gen 4 is a laughable Wth experiment on the same level as the Aztek. Keep on telling yourself that it's a good looking vehicle though if it helps. We actually had people laugh at it when it first hit the lot, but most were and still do state "what the f" or "what were they thinking". Not to mention they sell around here about as well as the Aztek did in it's day.
As a commuter I'd like to go with a 2018 or newer Camry Hybrid or a 2017 or newer Accord Hybrid. Both cars are getting about 50mpg for twice the car.
One of those regular full sized Priuses. This C was my first car and my first Prius, I did not realize that it was a "compact" version of the Prius until I got it home and started noticing that it looked smaller than other Prius's around town. Despite having a hatchback, the trunk area fills up really fast once you start packing in some groceries and a few boxes.
I've been thinking about this now that the Priuc C is no longer offered in Canada. I love my 2013 C. It is AMAZING in the snow. Great on gas and bright orange! I had a Highlander Hybried before so it is my second hybrid. I may either go all electric cheaper tesla or maybe consider prime. It won't happen for a few more years because I really haven't seen anything that can compare to my little C
I'm not even going to think about that now. I just got my 2012 c two on 1/8/2020 with 108k miles. I traded cars 4 times in 3.5 years. Now I have a great well maintained car and I plan to keep it a long time. I had my 2003 Sentra for over 10 years. I may run this over 10 years. I only drive around town and up to 5k miles a year. Someone from here once told me they didn't think my Prius c would be a good car for someone like me who only drives <5k miles a year but I think that's nonsense. It will be the opposite of that and be the best car I've ever had. It certainly has been so far. I drive it almost every day, even if just around town. It's like a dream car. If and when I part with it I will get another Toyota, and possibly a Prius. I have no reason to think there is a better car than a Toyota.
The 2021 Venza will be replacing the C in the near future. The C has been excellent vehicle and had never let me down. Drove to Quebec and back for 120$ round trip.
