Hello everyone, I was able to install a new android radio unit with everything working except for the front door speakers. I do have them in my door so they should work. By removing the door panel l was able to see that l had to look for a pink and purple wire, you can see in the picture l found the connector with the matching wires. It was plugged into the blue connector you see on the left. (I unplugged it to get a better look). When connected corrrectly is that the way the door speakers should work? I can't see how the connection is supposed to be connected to the radio Or, do l need a separate wiring 'bit' to connect the white plug directly into the back of the radio unit? Any help much appreciated! Edit.. when the white/blue plugs are connected the tweeters on top of the dash work but the speakers in the door (still) won't
Are you using stock or aftermarket speakers? If stock, the speaker connection goes directly to the top of the speaker as shown here:
I had the same problem. The door speakers have their own amplifier. This needs extra voltage. Pin 9 of the first plug is the connection you need to connect 12 volts when the radio is switched on.
I just got my android radio put in on my 2010 gen 3 but I didn’t have this problem maybe it’s just the harness your using
The problem is, when you have European version of JBL, with Fujitsu Ten amplifier. Like hoffeck, say. Photos prepared for "my friend" from China
