So my wife and I are moving to Brize Norton for 3 years starting later this year. Anyone know if I'll be able to get the european version of the nav dvd? If so how can I install it?
That's a good question. The person who told me this could be wrong, but I was told that the system is different, so it wouldn't work. I was wondering if you were moving to Mexico City could you get a DVD for Mexico.

The tried my EU spec Navi disc and it workds, partially. They could see where they were most of the time, but some addresses were no available. We came to the conclusion that it didnt really work. I expect you would need to change the navi computer under the drivers seat.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Mike Lane @ Aug 20 2006, 04:14 PM) </div> I suggest you email the Toyota HQ in the UK to ask them. You should be able to get the address from www.toyota.co.uk. If there is no reply try faxing a letter to 01737 367700 (you'll have to put the UK code in front of that). If you plan to travel outside the UK remember that the European DVD does not cover all Europe, mainly the UK and Germany. Other countries are patchy. Let us know here what reply you get from Toyota and what version the DVD is.
I typed my old address in Finland into the satnav for a laugh, and it found it perfectly and planned the route spot on, including all the border crossings on bridges and ferries too. Impressive makes me want to drive it.
