Hello Everybody, My name is Carlos and I live in Brazil. I just purchase a Prius 4 and I am loving this car. I have been drive it for 2 weeks and computer displays 4,6l/100km gasoline consumption, very good to me because here we have few options of hybrid and economical cars. Beside this, the prius have very equipaments that bring much confort to me and my family, things like dual zone AC, leather seats, back camera, HUD and a security pack interesting. My only complaint it is about ground clearance because where I live we have a bad trafic infra-strucuture. I bought this car with ~18.000km (2017/2018) and dealer did one free revision on the car before I receved it. A problemm, here in Brazil, is about our gasoline because it has 27% ethanol in your formula bring consumption to below =( I really liked knowing this forum and I wish participated more with posts e shares. My english is very poor but I want train it and just use Google to validate what I write. Thanks.
I have a question about Prius parking under sun all day. Where I live the garages are exposed to the sun for all day long, all my cars suffered with this but without any problems, but with Prius I am concerned about it if this may causes problems to battery or even other parts of hybrid system. Temperatures here reach almost full year above 100º F. I would like that anybody shared your experiences in this case. Thanks.
