Thinking of towing a light (<800 lb) teardrop camper with my 2011 Lexus CT200h, which has the same engine as the Gen 3 Prius. Will need to be able to negotiate Colorado mountain roads. I've read all the towing-related threads I could find here. Is it fair to think peoples' experiences towing campers and other things with the Gen 3 Prius should apply to the CT200h?
I would think from a powertrain standpoint, yes. The CT being a sportier/upscale model might very well have better brakes -- which would help your cause.
