There is no way and I can handle the look of the standard door clip roof rack on my 2014 plug-in. So I am pondering doing the Yakima Landing Pad 7 custom permeant install. Anyone running this setup? Would love to see your pictures with rack on and off. My plans are to only place the rack in service when I go surfing and leave it off for daily commute, with just the cover placed over the cleat. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Doug
Did you ever put on the pads? I, too, am looking for dimensions. The car on the left is maybe done and I'm looking at a Gen III. Thank you!
