So my 2006 Prius Touring with Bumblebee BeeMax replacement battery, w/ 8000mAh cells turned in 10,000 miles yesterday on I5 on my way home from work.
I couldn't get a snap cause, driving, but I did take a look at the calculated average MPG.
    42.5
Pretty damn good for the way that I drive (not a hyper-miler, drive it like I stole it).

I have not run any monitoring software while operating for several thousand miles now so I am unaware of any wear patterns in the unit. It just works, I'm getting great mileage for my driving style, so yay me.

I'll re-run a life expectancy test sometime in the next few days and report back

While you can still edit your post: "snap cause" equals "snapshot"?

If I’m not mistaken, bumblebee and Hybrid Automotive partner together on things. I believe that’s who @jeff652 uses for the individual modules you can buy from them.

So I’d believe they are a reputable outfit(y).

I remember bumblebee right up when they started, they were the first guys to make a new cell battery pack for the honda insight 1st gen. Very legit group of guys, but I don't feel there is any advantage to more mah capacity on a prius. From what I understand toaster2k said it doesn't really change much, if anything just helps with longevity. Is there any proof that it increases performance or mpg? I'd love to see ot.

Well, you're probably not going to get increased mileage data from me!

Can you give an approximate cost for that battery pack including installation/shipping?

$2,195. Toyota peices must have dropped since you bought that. That's about same as a Toyota pack now days. I wonder in Bumblebee prices have dropped as well?

Thanks for the update. Good to hear they are holding up.

    Hey @TimmGleason

Any update on the battery ? Hows it holding up ? I'm considering getting a Bumblebee BeeMax for my 2007 Prius. It comes out to $1914 Total including shipping which is way cheaper than Toyota's charging at $2874. And with a 3 year warranty thats not bad at all.
