Hi guys. New to this forum. Recently purchased a 2006 Prius and noticed that the headlights were out. Not the problem I'm worried about. Went to check the headlight fuses for the headlights in the fuse box under the hood and noticed a wire that goes from a blue wire in a harness to the P Main Conn fuse. Not sure what's going on there as it doesn't look factory. Was wondering if anyone has a clue as to what's going on there. Picture included. TIA. IMG_20200722_091116.jpg

What does the blue wire power?

If you trace the blue wire, where does it go?

IOW, disconnect the blue wire temporarily and then see what no longer operates.

Your Gen2 may have been modified to clear parking code error. See Youtube video discussing this "repair":

Sounds like the fuse being provided with power with the jump lacks power. IOW: fuse, computer, harness, connectors, corrosion, etc.
