It could also be an opportunity to revisit the question "how sure am I this PCV valve needs to be replaced?".

It’s the original one to the best of my knowledge. I bought this car used at 100,025. Who ever had it before me took pretty good care of it. The interior is immaculate. However, looking at the service history they seemed like the type that just did regular oil changes at the dealer. Etc... The car now has 169,000 on it.

If a long socket has the wrench bumping into something, how about adding an extension? Maybe it can snake through the obstruction, if it's something like cables.

If you'd ever taken the lower nut off 3rd Gen EGR cooler, you'd know of what I speak: you have to try short sockets, long sockets, various increments of extensions, swivel extensions, swivel head ratchets.

I tried all of that already. What is in the way is the inverter box and coolant reservoir. My sockets are either too shallow or too deep.
I went to Home Depot yesterday and they were all out of the closed end 19mm wrenches. I’m gonna go to Lowe’s today at some point. I have a whole socket set from harbor freight and the only size that is missing is the 19mm...smh.
