Saw a cute personalized plate today on an Salsa '04: "VLTZWGN" As to where to get frames, I got mine (nice metal, lots of choices in colors and styles) at http://www.licenseplateframe.com/.
here's mine. (picture attached) too geeky? HYBRID PZEV I BRAKE FOR KWH It's high quality engraved (not printed) plastic on a metal frame, got it made at the mall for about $20. I thought "I brake for electricity" was good, but it's too many letters so the font would have to be too small. Most people who look at their utility bill would recognise KWH or kWh as kilowatt-hours.
I know it's an old thread - but I thought of a new one for me (since I have two Prius). Final Score: Prius -2 SUV's 0 Or variatons - any combination: Hybrids 2, Guzzlers 0
Been thinking up ideas for plate frame wording ever since I ordered the car back in November. These are my two favorites. ...................................................................................................... Hybrid Efficient Energy Electro-Combustion Synergy ...................................................................................................... A Hybrid Machine It's Lean ... It's Green ...................................................................................................... I've made the decision to go with the second one (currently on order).
After reading the two thought trains on this thread, I think many should have My other car is an SUV on their plate frames.
I still have the stock plate covers from the dealer, had no interest in changing them. I do have couple unusual bumper stickers in the back window: Remember when [Win2k Symbol] were washed, [mouse icon] were trapped, and UNIX guarded the harem? -- And -- They may have Claymores and Dragons, but we have Bolos and Ogres! These allow me to be a bit radical without getting anyone mad (and actually get a chuckle or two instead). I don't argue ownership of larger cars as long as there was a utilitarian reason for them to own one. I only need to carry a notebook PC around and perhaps a Sun server part here and there.
