2006 with 185000m red triangle, yellow brake light, check engine light and MFD red car top left

Driving home from grocery shopping and the red triangle, check engine light and yellow brake light on the dash all pop on at the same time also the red car icon in the mfd top left corner came on as well. Drove home in kind of a limp mode and the ac stopped working a little while later (maybe like 10 min) so I turned off the radio and made it home, as I got home my brakes became very hard to press but managed to stop and get home. Thought my 12v finally went out so ordered a new optima yellow top, ran my generic code reader and got zero codes but when I erase the codes the scanner says evap code successfully erased. Dash lights go away new battery goes in and drove around amazing for 30 min then the lights all came back on so I came home slowly and started looking online. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

No visible codes on a generic code reader from amazon, when I erase codes it does give me a “successfully cleared evaporate code” and the triangle/yellow brake/ and check engine all turn off

 

Thanks for the replies. I recently had the battery pack swapped out about a year ago, still has warranty so I don’t think it’s that and the fan for the hybrid battery was not on (also changed with battery pack)
I don’t have an old windows 7 to run tech stream. Any reputable shops in the Palm Springs area that somebody might know?

 

The AC did stop working and at the end the brakes did too, that’s why I thought it was an abs thing not the coolant thing but I’ll definitely look into the inverter coolant pump. I have fluid in the tank but never checked if it’s working! I’ll check it out when I get off work in the morning! Thank you

 

So I turned on the car, popped the hood and opened the coolant reservoir cap and the coolant was still, no coolant moving, do I need to let it warm up or is the pump always running when the car is running. Thanks again for the help.

I’m gonna try and put windows 7 on my computer and install the Toyota software for codes, my generic code reader doesn’t show any faults

 

Hello folks, I ended up picking up an oem pump from the dealer and installed no problem this morning and I’m goin to take a long drive and see if any codes or triangle of death come back and give an update.
