Rear differential

    Hi all,

    My 2018 prime just hit 30k and wondering if there is a rear differential fluid to change?
    I change the transaxle fluid at 30k and it was kind of dark,
    I am a dyI home mechanic and cant seem to find anything on the internet.
    My guess is I will find out this is a dumb question but better safe than sorry to ask and I like to properly maintain my cars

    No. It's not RWD or AWD so there's no rear differential.

    ...and while there is a front differential, it shares lubricant with the transmission. You already changed that, you're done.

    But if you have a few spare minutes, maybe clean the battery cooling fan. They often get overlooked.

    They eliminated it in favor of headlight fluid. It's lighter and more efficient.

    Don't forget to check the blinker fluid when you check the headlight fluid level:p.
