Illinois - Need Prius 2011 Mechanic for Head Gasket Repair

I’m from Amboy, I am not aware of any “hybrid” repair shops close by. There are a couple in the Chicago area if you can drive it. Otherwise we’ve used CARS (complete autoworks repair services) in Dixon for other things. Doesn’t hurt to ask if they have done any HG on hybrids.

Would be worthwhile to check their channel for new videos too. In particular they recently posted one about how to tell if head bolts are frozen, shocking them loose, to avoid snapping off heads.

 

pm member eric becky, up in madison. he might have some advice for you. he's a battery guy i think, but maybe more, and very knowledgable and helpful.
