Older Prius wheel on newer Prii swaps

    Hi guys,

    I've got a '16 touring 4, and the wheels are sssoooo boring. I think i'm actually a fan of the '14 17" prius wheels. Do any of you have pics of newer Prii with older wheels? Or can anyone point me to some? I'm looping to do a direct swap 17" to 17", but powder coat them black. I'm new to the Prius platform as I've going from a CTS-V with almost 700 to the wheels, but i'm not too scared of a little DIY if need be. However, i'm LOVING this car. It and the Madi are night and day, but Blanche has got a piece of my heart.

    I think I like the multi spoke (20) design of the older Prius V. I think.

    EDIT - Just googled and I like the 2010-15 - Prius 5, 5 spoke wheel and the 2017 Prius S Touring wheel.

    Anyone got pics with those on a 4th gen Pri.?

    Those Gen 3, 5 spokes, were the easiest wheels to clean.

    I went even older with mine. I stole the wheels off of my daughters Gen 2. Temporarily as I scored a set of black 5’s of a 14 for cheap that are going on as soon as my tires come in.

    For some reason, I prefer then WITH the rings on. They look more complete to me. They seem a little larger too... Idk...

    I always said the Gen 3 and the Gen 4 should have a 16" wheel option as fitted to the Gen 2 here in the UK. 15" just don't look right to me, too small.
