After owning it for a few months, I scraped my Prius today. I live on a somewhat steep driveway it will scrape any car (unless you have a lifted truck) going head on. Of course I learned how to tackle the driveway at an angle and got very good with it. Today, maybe my angle was wrong or went too fast , while I was going up , I heard the dreaded scrapping noise. and scraped the under side of my driver bumper. Of course this maxed out my OCD. My first time with a Prius , anyone else have issues with scraping?
Welcome to my world. Some things simply can't be avoided. I have ended up adding a front bumper camera to save me from parking blocks and curbs while parking. (My car is lowered about 1").
I may not go that far in to adding a front camera. But I learned to park before the parking blocks and curbs. I'm one of those people that are OCD about their cars, more than most. I'm the person, who properly wash their car every week (I'm a hobbyist detailer), and know every single dent/scratch/ding on the car. This is eating me alive. I do see people in my neighborhood that drive BMWs, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus that don't care about that kind of stuff.
