Never received half of my order, PriusChat Shop will not respond to refund the item I never received

    In July I ordered two items - a sun shade and a navigation screen visor. They sent the sun shade, and I got an email saying that the order was partially shipped. I never received the visor, and made several attempts at contacting them through both the online form and the little "Contact Us!" widget at the bottom right of the screen. I was charged the price for both of the items and never received any refund for the item they never shipped.

    They say on the Contact Us page: "Have a question? Please feel free to contact us using the form below and we'll get back to you as soon as we can - usually within a few minutes, but always within 24 hours." but I never heard back from them (it's been months). How do I get the visor shipped to me, or get a refund for that item?

    You can't really KNOW that, since you probably don't know about all of them.

    From evidence going back YEARS, Danny often hasn't been very responsible.

    Did you know to read this forum before ordering?

    Unfortunately, there is no clear pointer for prospective customers to do so.

    Back when I was new here, and even three years later when I traded up, service was very good. But times have changed.

    My opinion is that you shouldn't have to bend over backwards to try to get them to respond. I would open a case with your credit card company. If they don't get a response, they will refund your money and charge the PriusChat shop's account.

    Credit card companies usually have deadlines for refunds and chargebacks. July is much too far back, so other paths are needed.

    I started a conversation with him on April 14, but never received a response. Not totally sure what the "conversation" feature is since I don't use forums much, but I would think that would be something that goes to him that he would then respond to if he had any intention of doing so.

    Honestly I'm pretty pissed now. It's too late to get my money back through the credit card company and this guy stole $35 from me. Anybody else have any ideas on how to get ahold of the owner and get my money back?

    I am thankful I eventually received the MFD hood purchased through Chat shop, but I did endure some cryptic messages along the way. This was before the Lockdown, tho.

    I think you could make a small claims court, I think that's what it's for, small amounts of money that haven't been paid

    1. Requested Status update to order confirmation email.

    2. Received cryptic response.

    3. Lamented in the Forum about lack of action.

    4. Tideland Prius broadcast a request in the open forum, for someone to follow thru.

    5. Product received a month later.

    6. Never going to attempt Prius Shop ever again.

    I ordered a sunshield on the 2nd. Sent three messages asking what was up as it was processing but nothing more. My last message was go ahead and cancel my order I’ll have PayPal reverse it. Bam I get an answer last night, sorry MANUFACTURING is being slow but it’s shipped now. Could have said that after my first message but whatever. We shall see if it actually ships now. Last time shopping on PC for me.
