I've decided to sell my trailer I had made for my 06 Prius. It's an enclosed trailer that fits into the draft of the gen 2 (and later) Prius.

It runs on 12" tires at 90 psi (sidewall max). Very little rolling or wind resistance. At 75 mph I would drop 5 mpg or less, even loaded with 1k lbs.

Top and back lift up via lift cylinders. Box is a little over 5' long, 3' wide and 3' tall. Ammo box in front for tools or straps. Spare tire mounts under the rear. 1200lb springs.

Clean title. Working lights. 4 way flat plug. 1 7/8" ball. Tires worn but have some life left. 4 tires total included in sale, 2 mounted, 1 spare, and 1 extra.

Very versatile good little trailer. I've towed it cross county many times.

Located in zip 85361. Just NW of Phoenix AZ. I routinely travel to the SoCal area, I might be willing to deliver if someone is interested.

I can't post a link since I just created an account. Search Phoenix Craigslist for "Small enclosed utility trailer". Feel free to ask me questions about it.

They have a "for sale" thread in the forum.
See if a mod will move the thread for you.

    You'll get more traffic....

Looks like a good trailer and a good price, esp if it's lightweight to avoid mpg loss. I'd hop on it if I didn't have a harbor freight trailer built already. It bogs me down pretty good though. Good luck selling.

I'd estimate its less than 500 lbs. The 12" wheels I think are key to good mpg. They are rated at 90 psi and don't deflect under load much. I had another trailer that had 13" tires and those bulged no matter what (rated @ 42 psi) and you can definitely notice the difference.
