    Are 29/30 for power and 27/28 for video signal? or the other way around? Thanks!

    29/30 is power for the cam, the other two are the video input

    29 = + cam
    30 = - cam
    27 = + video cable
    28 = - video cable

    I didnt use 29 and 30, i used power from the reversing light

    Wouldn't it be easier to put everything on a switch instead of steering diode.
    Double pole double throw. One pole is B+ (no steering diode need) the other pole is bu cam or iPod video

    I am ready to tackle this mod but I am confused on which wires to connect to the micro dpdt switch contacts.
    Not very good at reading wiring diagrams.
    Here is my little illustration on what I am trying to accomplish.

    hello, I am conected 27-28 cable video, and power, but camedo dont work, my multimedia with gps and jbl, what need conect to 21rev?

    Which cable to be connected, so MFD will cut and display the connection from 29/30? Is there a switch needed?

    It's been a long time so I don't remember exactly how I did it. I do know I used a mechanical switch to switch on the backup camera display which shows the PC screen on the MFD. Good luck!
