2005 Prius w/ JBL, Nav, 6 CD, and Cassette. Looking to get bluetooth iphone connectability. The radio ones suck a ton of noise. I also have a headunit from 2009 prius if that helps I could switch that in. But not sure how exactly to do this-- I haven't seen anyone that has my same setup (2005 with those options and what they did to get bluetooth music). Right now all it does is calls.
I'm using this interface for years now. ZEMEX V3.1 Bluetooth für Toyota (ZXV3TO1) It has to be plugged to the CD changer connector (instead of the changer I think – I didn't have any). Whatever, you'll need something with the A2DP bluetooth profile to receive your phone's audio stream, I think. SM-G950F ?
This was intended more as a suggestion. There should be similar products in the USA I think. We would like to help to choose the right version. BTW I would ask about international shipping (possibility and fee), too. Have you found the right bluetooth adapter/solution? I have a '05 2nd gen base and don't have any aux or bluetooth connections to connect my phone either.
