I've been away from this forum for awhile... I have a 2010 Prius IV, with sun roof and solar panel. I see many Gen 3 Prii out there, but I have never seen another one with solar panels. Do I have a rare species? Or, perhaps it's just rare in Colorado? I love the solar panels and sun roof, and am surprised I don't see any others. Thanks for your thoughts. Bill
They are rare, but not as rare as one might think... I've seen quite a few around mine and nearing state.. what's really rare and one I'm currently searching is a Gen 3 model with lane departure, blind spot monitoring and I believe also head-up display... Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

I don't think that exists. I have a Prius V with the technology package and it has everything else you mention. It also has adaptive cruise control, which is amazingly great imho.
If you ever find a prius with all those features together, it was custom made by Toyota. Heads up display is only available in trim 4.
I know in 2010 you could get radar cruise control, and intelligent park assist. A pretty rare option!
I have a solar package 2010 It's the only one I've seen around here (Portland, OR area) I don't know why Toyota dropped this option. It's great!

I have a ‘14 , it has full glass roof ( half solar half moon roof) heads up display and jnl system . I wanted to buy a new one in ‘16 I wanted the same car but with fog lights and intuitive cruse control. It was not available . Still have my 14 I changed all the lights to led and it made a big difference But the interior light used to come on as I approached the car and that stopped a month or two after the led change . The light works if I use the switch . Any ideas ? iPhone ?
Not Rare as I have a 2010 Prius also. They offered me the option for solar during the transaction but ended up with the base model as it was my first new car off the lot. I still proudly own and drive this amazing utility vehicle and its been smiles for miles but the solar was only for the inside cabin fans to maintain a constant cool car in extreme heat which NYC does not experience often enough to warrant the panels. You my friend have the Premium package 2010 prius you probably even have the sonar detection don't you?
Grit , thank you ! I was pissed off and the only thing I could figure was the computer did not see the high resistance of the led and cut power . But , you fixed it ! I don’t know how I rolled that switch , but that was it ! Thanks again ! Joe iPhone ?
