Hello All, I just brought my third Prius yesterday. A 2019 Prius Four in Charcoal grey. Big tablet size screen in the middle of the dash, heated seats and steering wheel. Just a great car. My question is it has 17" rims. On my previous cars had had 16" rims with snow tires. Can I run them on this car? Do I need to make any adjustments on the car? Thanks for your replies. I have a correction my snow tires are on 15" rims not 16". They are 195/65R15 . I have them on 2012 Prius rims. Sorry for my mistake. Thanks for the replies.
I'd suggest 195/65R15 for snow tires. Personally, I shy away from aftermarket, one-size-fits-all rims. For a black steel rim, there's a Toyota Corolla rim that's 100% compatible. This is what I'm using, fwiw: Corolla 15" black steel rims p/n: 42611-02471 With lug nuts p/n: 90942-01007 (utilitarian, open-ended, galvanized) One thing, I found the lack of centre caps meant the hubs were turning into rust lumps real fast. And they looked bad. After a couple of winters thus, I cleaned them up best I could, applied some coating. then used 2" ABS end caps as a cover. They're slightly loose, but I found pushing a rubber band onto the lip on the rim first, made the cap a snug/secure fit. If you want something classier, 15" Prius alloy rims with centre caps?
I run my 15" 2010 Prius rims on my 2016 prius for snow tires. They have 195/65R15 Blizzacs on them. Yes I see your correction on rim size.
