I was driving the other day and I blew the 150 amp high-voltage fuse. This was the same fuse that was in the recall. So I had the vehicle towed to my local dealership. They told me that they replaced the fuse and now are still unable to clear the codes even with the low voltage prevention override. Please help My car is 304,000 miles on it.
Well maybe .what components Is faulty. DC to DC converter or inverter. Any help Towards the solution would be helpful Thank you.
That a bunch of miles!! I'm impressed. I would ask the dealer WHY they can't clear the codes. Generally, you have to fix what triggers the codes. I would expect the dealer, if I'm giving them money, to give me at least an explanation so I can decide if I want to have them fix it. Just saying, "We can't clear the codes," is not in their job description.
if you had the recall done, i would ask the dealer if it is under extended warranty. if not, call toyota corporate and ask for goodwill assistance
They told me they would look into it but it would take quite a of man hours to diagnose which would most likely be over the value of the vehicle
