Has anyone ever encountered this error? The Clearance sonar when im backing up also doesn't light up. The other functions on the car work fine but I can't get the parallel park assist to work it shows that error and I can't turn it on in settings.
It might be one of the sensors is either bad, or giving a bad/intermittent signal; the sensors aren't super dirty, are they? There's an error code stored in the ECU to tell you, but you'd likely need an advanced scanner to read it; not sure the AutoZone scanners would(?). Some day I'll have to play around with the parking feature. Has it worked for you, previously?
