Can you elaborate a little on how to find what I'm looking for? Is LKQ a brand?

If the wiring connectors are the same and they are functional equivalents, they will work. That's the cost of doing mods.

I have no idea how to confirm this before purchasing. It also looks like a couple buttons exist on this wheel that don't on mine.

The least expensive and sensible route would be to purchase the $30 set off of eBay, strip off the white parts with 400 grade sandpaper and paint it with matte black Krylon Fusion spray can paint. Done right, paint is much better than vinyl film wrap.

That way, you can take your time to make sure that paint cures fully, and if you mess up, it can be re-sanded with 400 and repainted again at your convenience.

I have used matte black Kyrlon Fusion on other plastic parts and it works exceptionally good. It may run on vertical surfaces, but it lays down great when the part is horizontal. Always use light coats. I found that three is best with no more than an hour between coats. I have three year old surfaces painted and it has great scratch resistance. The paint continually cures with age and gets tougher with time.

If you change your mind, you can always easily go back to the original white.

I am thinking of doing a wrap of the black glossy areas around the console . Anyone tried?

I just did that blinding area above the glovebox. I used matte black vinyl. The rest looks a little too challenging with all the buttons, but I might give it a try one of these days because it looks WAY better in matte.

I'm still new here, and just bought a 2017 Prius four, and would like to change out my white panel where the gear shift lever is. Can you tell me where I can get the OEM replacement please?

Might leave it. I would definitely prefer to wrap if I can but I see what you're saying.

Last week I finally wrapped the area with the buttons, but not all the way to the Start button. Ran out of material. I didn't quite get a good cut for the hazard light "button" but I think it's pretty good otherwise. I'm still getting the fresh edges convinced to stick down all the way around.

Right on. You use knife tape? That can help with clean edges around curves.

It was easier to press the vinyl into the grooves that formed the curves and then follow the curves. That part was easy. Only problem was the so-called buttons. I didn't want to damage the surface of the dash while cutting around them, so I had to pre-cut the holes and that was a bit of a guessing game as far as locations. Real buttons would have been a lot easier.

Thinking about wrapping a lot of the plastic if I get a 2016-2018 prius. Will search extensively on this but...

Do the wraps last at least a few years? I am guessing that it is not that big of a deal to get them off and redo them... but it would be tedios if it did not last at least a few years.

Doing the steering wheel, the center console and panel all have curved surfaces (much more so than outside) Will these stay in place or bubble quickly with the hot sun pounding on it?

The wrap on my dash has been there over 2-12 years. It took a few weeks to get all the bubbles out but now it looks perfect. I don't know about wrapping outside, but my interior wrap is holding up great so far.
