2015 not charging while coasting, ICE won’t turn off, odd acceleration

    Had it checked out at Toyota today, they tried to reproduce the problem but failed. They did diagnostics on the battery (whatever that means) and said all is well.

    I guess I'll chalk it up to being normal after a steep down hill with lots of regeneration and parking!

    they can run a load test. how are your mpg's?

    MPG's are excellent, I get 60-70mpg on my way to work and about 50 coming home (uphill).

    With something like a tech stream can I program the cooling fan to come on earlier? Or are they more for monitoring rather than changing things in the car?

    i think you can, but not positive. scan gauge can, iirc, so tech stream should be able to do anything.

    Hybrid Assistant is android only. I use iPhone but have an old android phone just for the Hybrid Assistant app while driving to monitor the hybrid system and manually turn on the battery fan. IMG_1509.jpg
