I just rebuilt my Gen 2 hybrid battery and I crushed the temp sensor.

    Ok, so if the sensor was actually up between the modules, someone put it there on purpose. The sensor should have clip wings on it for mounting it under the module. I would guess someone accidently broke them off while disassembling and figured they'd just wedge the sensor between the modules while assembling it. Very Nice...

    There are probably plenty on ebay.
